We ask that all SSC members try their best to co operate with the rink staff in order to make relationship with the rink a pleasant one. When Skating at OVA, please remember to: 1. Sign In before you skate! 2. Enter the ice from the NORTH end ONLY. 3. Keep your punch cards/flat rates Updated. Thank You! ****** OLYMPICVIEW ARENA ICE-SKATING RULES 1. Suggested session limits are 26 skaters per session unless otherwise approved by management, skating director or ice monitor. 2. All skaters must sign-in prior to each session skated. 3. Any skater performing their program with their music has the ultimate right of way. 4. Any skater in a private lesson has the right of way secondary to any skater performing their program. 5. All skaters must yield to skaters in harness lessons. 6. Only coaches having a current liability insurance form on file may use the jump harness. 7. Zamboni doors must be closed before skaters may take the ice. 8. Only closed drinking containers permitted rink side. No other food is permitted. 9. Skaters do not leave anything on the boards during an ice resurfacing. 10. A skater may only have their music played a second time during a session if all other skaters in the line have had their music played once. 11. Coaches may “bump the line” and play their student’s music if they are currently in a lesson with that student. Coaches may not “bump the line” for their students not in a lesson nor more than once during the same session. 12. For the safety of everyone, please no sitting on the boards or lingering around center ice or corners. 13. All warm-up music must be acceptable for all ages. 14. Warm–up music may not be played excessively loud. 15. For everyone's safety, skaters are expected to limit socializing to off-ice areas only. 16. Parents and skaters are not permitted to stand at ice surface door entrances at any time. 17. Coaches are not to be interrupted while in lessons unless there is an emergency. 18. Semi-Private lessons are limited to no more than two students unless otherwise designated. 19. Wear warm appropriate skating attire. No jeans or pajama pants please. 20. Please, be respectful of the sound equipment. If help is required, ask your coach or arena staff for assistance. 21. WISA management may, from time to time, adjust rules and sessions as needed.
