History Seattle Skating Club or SSC was founded in 1931 and has an illustrious history with national and international successes from our skaters, coaches and officials. Each day, skaters of all ages and levels take to our ice to perfect their skills and challenge themselves to reach the goals that make them all champions. SSC is a member of US Figure Skating (USFS) and we currently have about 300 members, making us one of the largest clubs on the West Coast. We are also a 501c(3) non profit organization, so all donations to the club are tax deductible.
